CHILD SUPPORT

Child Support

Florida’s Child Support Guidelines are used to determine the amount of money the custodial parent is entitled to receive – or – the amount the noncustodial parent is required to pay. However, making these determinations can be challenging. For this reason, it is essential that you choose an experienced Family Lawyer to represent you as you petition for child support. An experienced Family Law Attorney will work towards ensuring that the amount you receive – or the amount you pay – is fair.

Child Support

If the noncustodial parent neglects to pay child support, the custodial parent will need to file a motion requesting that the Court enforce the child support obligation. Oftentimes, in cases such as these, the Court will order wage garnishments, etc. I know how stressful the legal matters surrounding divorce, child custody, and child support can be, which is why I am dedicated to making the processes related to Family Law as stress-free as possible for my clients. As your attorney, I will help you file the appropriate motion to request the enforcement of your child support order.

Prior to opening my own law office, I served as a Child Support Prosecutor, which has provided me with extensive experience related to the establishment, modification and enforcement of child support orders. I serve all of South Florida. To learn more, contact my Miami office today to schedule your initial consultation.
